How to check your Office version and service packs:
1. Open Outlook (or any Office application)
2. Click 'Help' and choose the 'About' option.
3. The 'About' page will tell you which Office version and will list any service packs that have been installed. eg: MicroSoft Outlook 2000 SP-3 is Office 2000 with service pack 3. If no service packs have been installed, only the version will be shown.
